What is VEX ROBOTICS COMPETITION (VRC EDR)? In collaboration with the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF), VEX Robotics is a student-driven program that teaches leadership, collaborative teamwork, creative problem-solving, and technological advancement through the engineering design process throughout the world. VEX manufactures the parts and issues a yearly challenge for which students conceptualize, build-from-scratch, program, and operate robots to complete designated tasks through various level competitions year-round. 

When is the robotics season?

The Middle School Iron Eagles regular season runs from June - March, capped off by the Tennessee State Championship (March 13-14, 2026) and post-season culminates with the Middle School VEX World Championship (April, 2026 in St. Louis, MO).

What are the season costs?

MS Robotics Annual fee = $350/student for V5 students and $275/student for IQ students

World Championship = $1250/student (less if families use points for child's airfare)
